About Tigre
Tigre Energy was established in 2012 by Phil Scowcroft, one of the most experienced UK professionals in waste management, advanced thermal treatment and "energy from waste".
Many years of direct experience with thermal processing of wastes means that Phil and his team are well placed to identify the best technologies available and to assist clients with their implementation.
"Only a few technologies, out of dozens in this sector, have the ability to demonstrate reliability and efficiency, despite the inflated or erroneous claims of many", states Phil.

In order to provide a comprehensive package of engineering support, Tigre works with Otto Simon Ltd, an independent process led consultancy, with origins dating back over 100 years.
OSL has gained invaluable experience by working with thermal technologies from traditional coking plants to the latest developments in gasification and pyrolysis.
OSL have the capability to take a project from the conceptual stage, gradually advancing the project definition to greater levels of accuracy of information, technical, performance, capital, price, O&M costs and programme. In this way, the project can be developed and packaged for funding, detailed design and build or an EPC wrap, as required.
